It turns out that NVIDIA actually released one version of the Web Drivers with Volta support: 387.10.10.15.15.108 (opens new window). However, this version was reported as unstable for some users and NVIDIA pulled it soon afterward. Ever since, no further versions of the Web Drivers have been released with Volta support. Because of the reported bugginess and that NVIDIA has pulled these drivers, we're going to treat them as unsupported.

Evga Gtx 660 Ti Driver For Mac
Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is included for the best gameplay on day-1.
Note to 32-bit Windows users: Beginning with the release of driver version 390, Nvidia will not be releasing any more drivers with support for 32-bit operating systems. Both Windows and Linux users will be required to upgrade to a 64-bit system should they wish to use the most up-to-date drivers available.
In the "additional drivers" section of Software Sources it says there is no proprietary drivers in use. I can't seem to find another way to install them, other than downloading them directly from nVidia and installing them myself (which always breaks my system, forcing me to reinstall). I can't even seem to find the Nouveau driver though.
Bad news for owners of older Nvidia graphics cards this morning, as the graphics card maker has confirmed they're ending support for all of their desktop Kepler GPUs starting this October. That means no more Game Ready drivers, performance enhancements or bug fixes for people with GTX 600, GTX 700 or GTX Titan cards.
Starting from October 4th 2021, only Nvidia's Maxwell, Pascal, Turing and Ampere families of desktop graphics cards will continue getting Game Ready driver support, leaving Kepler owners out in the cold. Kepler GPUs will still continue to get critical security updates up until September 2024, but their final Game Ready driver will arrive on August 31st 2021.
Some of the eagle-eyed among you will notice that not all GTX 700 cards are actually present in this list. The GTX 750, GTX 750 Ti and GTX 745 are all absent, and that's because these cards technically belong to Nvidia's Maxwell family, despite sharing the same 700-series name. As such, it's likely these three cards will continue to receive Game Ready drivers for a little bit longer, until Nvidia axes support for their Maxwell GPUs as well, that is.
In the R300 drivers, released alongside the GTX 680, Nvidia introduced a new feature called Adaptive VSync. This feature is intended to combat the limitation of v-sync that, when the framerate drops below 60 FPS, there is stuttering as the v-sync rate is reduced to 30 FPS, then down to further factors of 60 if needed. However, when the framerate is below 60 FPS, there is no need for v-sync as the monitor will be able to display the frames as they are ready. To address this issue (while still maintaining the advantages of v-sync with respect to screen tearing), Adaptive VSync can be turned on in the driver control panel. It will enable VSync if the framerate is at or above 60 FPS, while disabling it if the framerate lowers. Nvidia claims that this will result in a smoother overall display.[3]
Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) was added to Fermi and Kepler GPUs with an October 2014 release of Nvidia drivers. This feature aims at increasing the quality of displayed picture, by rendering the scenery at a higher and more detailed resolution (upscaling), and scaling it down to match the monitor's native resolution (downsampling).[11]
Nvidia announced that after Release 470 drivers, it would transition driver support for the Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems to legacy status and continue to provide critical security updates for these operating systems through September 2024.[38]

if I change inside new kext applegraphiccontrol kext/contents/plugin this file: AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext with an old and patched 10.12.5 one...I have two monitors working and nvidiaweb drivers loaded fine
Followed the same instructions, the web driver loads the frame buffer and shows as GTX 1080, but no graphics acceleration. Can set 165Hz on the monitor, but no transparency/QE/CI. I believe the shift to Metal for the GUI on 10.13 means we'll need new drivers from nVidia to take advantage. Waiting patiently!
I tried this -nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-macos-high-sierra-update-06052017/page-2?do=findComment&comment=2439371but it did not work. I tried to replace the kexts using these files -nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-macos-high-sierra-update-06052017/?do=findComment&comment=2437874 but when I give boot I get A disconnected cable message on the monitor, but the pc does not restart. I can only enter the system if I use nv_disable = 1
I played it safe. I bought an EVGA modular power supply and jumpered the pins so that it thought power was on. I connected two video power cables to the PSU and snaked them into the case though an empty PCI slot opening. Running a Gigabyte GTX 980 Gaming card. Room for another on the PSU and in the Mac Pro 5,1. I keep the PSU switched on. I have the Mac set to NOT update MacOS, nor to reboot after power failure. I religiously shutdown Mac and then hit switch on power strip that handles Mac and EVGA PSU. To start up i reverse the process. This way there is always power available for the card(s).Web driver work in Sierra. Card also works great in Windows 10 under Bootcamp.
First of all, thank you so much for your positive declaration that a Mac Pro 2009 5.1 is good to go for installing the macOS Sierra system. Like many people I have invested time and money upgrading my System only to beinformed that Apple was about to consign my proud `new` machine to the knackers yard!!! Your news has given me so much confidence, that I have purchased a GTX 1080 Founders Edition card. If and when dear old Nvidia creates the Mac drivers for this speedster it will certainly be the icing on the cake for me. What started out as a very modest early 2009 Mac Pro has almost closed the gap on the shiny Trash Can Pro performance! Many thanks
Hi AlanAll the drivers are located under >Quadro>Quadro Series>Quadro K5000 for MacIf you follow step three you will find all the drivers.Once you click to select your operating system if you click show all operating systems you will see all the versions appear.Cheers George
Have a mac pro 5.1 running OSX 10.12.1Installed a new gtx 980 ti using the latest drivers cuda 8.0.53 and quadro geoforce 158f03. graphics work great in either DP or HDMI connection, but I get absolutely no audio. the monitor is no longer listed as an audio output device, and in system/hardware/audio: there is no listing anywhere for either HDMI or Display port as an audio source.so the bottom line is that i get great 4K video, but no sound.Any ideas how to remedy this? Here is one crazy thing i noticed, I replace the original ATI HD 5770 to get my sound back, but left the Nvidia drivers on the mac. those drivers are running the HD5770 at 4K with no issues and sound!!! How is that possible for a non 4K rated video card to run 4k with another mfg driver?that question is just for curiosity, what i really want to fix is the sound on the GTX 980ti.all help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. 2ff7e9595c
